ineedaskip.com™ is going to help people recycle their real Christmas trees in January into compost or mulch. Instead of taking their real tree to the local recycling facility and finding pine needles in their cars for the next few years, residents in the Newcastle City Council areas of Benton, Fenham, Forest Hall, Heaton, High Heaton, Gosforth, Jesmond, Kenton and Kingston Park can take advantage of this time-limited service being launched by ineedaskip.com™.
It is hoped that the service will expand in future years but for this inaugural year, residents of these areas can visit ineedaskip.com, click on the “Christmas Tree Collection” and arrange for their used REAL Christmas Tree to be collected in the week of 7th to 14th January 2019 for only £5 per tree.
All REAL trees will be taken to a licensed organic waste treatment facility within the Newcastle City Council area and turned into a beneficial compost or mulch.
For every £5 received, ineedaskip.com™ will donate 50% of the revenue, £2.50 per tree, to be divided evenly between three wonderful North-East Charities namely: Bravehearts of the North East https://brave-hearts.com/, Sunshine Fund https://thesunshinefund.org, and Tiny Lives http://www.tinylives.org.uk/.
